One Fight & Fighter Added To Invicta FC 24
There have been a few additions to the upcoming Invicta FC 24 card as Pam Sorenson replaces Tonya Evinger against Helena Kolesnyk and Miranda Maverick faces Gaby Romero in a strawweight division fight.
Sorenson (5-2-0) has won just one of two under the Invicta FC banner, defeating Jessica-Rose Clark and suffering a defeat to Ediane Gomes. Sorenson is also a former King Of The Cage Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Brenda Gonzalez to win the gold.
Kolesnyk (5-0-0-1NC) is going to be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight, and thus far none of her pro MMA bouts have gone the distance. Kolesnyk has seen three of her six professional MMA bouts end in under a minute and only one has made it to the third round.
Maverick (2-0-0) has spent her entire professional MMA career in Invicta FC, defeating both Samantha Diaz and Kalyn Schwartz. Maverick did go winless during her time as an amateur MMA fighter, dropping a bout to Samantha Gilliland in her lone amateur bout.
Romero (2-1-0) is going to be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and she does so on a two fight winning streak. Romero also competed once in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, defeating Linsey Williams by first round submission at LFA 2.
Invicta Fighting Championships 24 takes place on Saturday, July 15 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Milana Dudieva and Mara Romero Borella headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on UFC Fight Pass.
