Five-time NFL Pro Bowl running back Frank Gore is set to make his professional boxing debut with UFC star Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Promotions at an event on May 14 in Jackson, Mississippi.
MMA Junkie’s Nolan King was the first to report the news of Gore making the transition from football to boxing, revealing the promotion has yet to determine who will be Gore’s opponent. The NFL legend is coming off a split-decision loss to former NBA All-Star Deron Williams in a four-round exhibition on the undercard of the Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley II event back in December.
