Miesha Tate Gives Birth To Second Child

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate may be a one time UFC champion, but she is now a two time parent after giving birth to her son, which she and partner Johnny Nunez named Daxton Wylder Nunez.

While Tate has yet to comment on the birth of her son, a proud papa in Nunez called the event a tremendous feeling, especially since he helped Tate deliver the baby.

“It feels great to be a father, but to bring your own son into this world is a tremendous feeling,” Nunez told ONEFC.com. “Amaia’s delivery was a three-day-long labor, but this one came quick and I had to think quickly. I made the decision to not call the ambulance when the baby’s head started crowning and decided to step up and prepare for the delivery.”

Tate and Nunez are already parents to a daughter named Amaia Navaeh Nunez, who was born in June of 2018.

The couple is still active in the professional MMA scene, as Tate is retired and is now an executive with One Championship, while Nunez is coming off of appearances in Bellator MMA, One Championship and the World Series Of Fighting.
