Middleweight Clash Added To UFC Fight Night 110

A clash of middleweights is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 110 card as #9 Derek Brunson faces Daniel Kelly.

Brunson (16-5-0) will be entering the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to the duo of Robert Whittaker and former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. Brunson has won seven of his ten fights under the UFC banner, with some of the more notable wins coming over Chris Leben, Lorenz Larkin, Ed Herman, Sam Alvey, Roan Carneiro and Uriah Hall. Brunson also spent some time competing in Strikeforce, where he defeated the likes of Lumumba Sayers and Jeremy Hamilton.

Kelly (13-1-0) has won six of seven fights during his time in the UFC, last defeating former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans at UFC 209. Kelly will also be entering the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, which has lasted almost two years. The lone loss that Kelly has suffered as a professional MMA fighter came to fellow UFC fighter Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night 65.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place on Saturday, June 10 from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Derrick Lewis and Mark Hunt headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
