Middleweight Bout Set For UFC Fight Night 112
A middleweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 112 card as Vitor Miranda will see action against Marvin Vettori.
Miranda (12-5-0) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Jake Collier, Clint Hester and Marcelo Guimaraes. Miranda will be competing for the first time in over a year, with his last bout being a loss to Chros Camozzi at UFC Fight Night 88. Miranda has only seen two of his five UFC fights go the distance and he lost both of those fights, as all of his wins have come by way of finish.
Vettori (11-3-0) has won just one of two fights in the UFC, defeating Alberto Emiliano Pereira and suffering a defeat to Antonio Carlos Jr. Vettori also won the Venator Fighting Championships Guerrieri Italiani Tournament, defeating Igor Araujo in the finals. Vettori has only suffered one defeat in the last two-plus years, that loss came to the aforementioned Antonio Carlos Jr.
UFC Fight Night 112 takes place on Sunday, January 25 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with no main event announced at this time. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
