Michael Chandler: Conor McGregor Has To Prove To The World That He’s Not Scared Of Me
Conor McGregor won’t fight Michael Chandler. At least not yet.
UFC announced that Michael Chandler will fight Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 in November. Chandler was originally scheduled to fight Conor McGregor in June, but the fight was canceled two weeks out due to an injury to McGregor.
When news of Chandler vs. Oliveira was announced, McGregor took to social media to call out Chandler.
Chandler saw that takedown getting stuffed and mauled and officially dipped. Little Fat Pussy. Iām at the hard rock hotel Florida for the bare knuckle tonight. Got tested earlier today by DFSI. Give me my fucking date!

Chandler posted a video responding to McGregor, saying that he took the Oliveira fight because he didn’t want to wait around for Conor.
He said that Conor has to prove that he’s not afraid of him, and that he will face Conor in 2025 when Conor decides to return. In the meantime, he wanted to fight Oliveira, who defeated him at UFC 262.
