Max Holloway Wants Everybody To Stop Whining

Max Holloway is preparing to battle former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis for the UFC Interim Featherweight Title at UFC 206, but there plenty of voices still complaining about Conor McGregor being stripped of the featherweight belt. The title challenger had some harsh words for those who can't get over things.

“We’ve got to go out there and do our damn things,” Holloway said at the UFC media call on Tuesday. “It is what it is, Conor set the bar and I’m here to beat it. That’s the bar we’ve got to beat and I’m reaching for it. I have all intentions on smashing it. First things first, the first step is December 10, so that’s what we’re going to do.The UFC gave him the title, the title says undisputed, so you can’t deny him,” Holloway said. “It is what it is, he’s got the belt. I need to go out there Dec. 10, handle business, get what’s mine and go after the undisputed one. I ain’t no hater about the guy. He got the damn thing. He had the interim, they gave him the real one now. That’s what it is. Everybody crying, you’re not going to change it with all your whining. Stop your f-cking whining and do something with your own life and move on.”

McGregor did defeat Holloway by unanimous decision a few years back in the UFC. Holloway and Nate Diaz are the only fighters to go the distance with McGregor in the UFC.

UFC 206 takes place on Saturday, December 10 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis headlining.
