Max Holloway Wants To Be In A Reality Show

UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Max Holloway will be facing UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo in a title unification fight at UFC 212.

While the champion wants to be the best MMA fighter around, it also wouldn’t bother him if he were to become a reality star either.

“I’m witty, I’m quick, (and) I’m clever,” Holloway told MMA Junkie. “When me and my friends are playing around, I like to talk (expletive). I like to give (expletive). If ‘Embedded’ or the UFC was to give me a camera and just follow me around, we could make a show every day.”

The interim featherweight champion has been on UFC programming in the past, but has never had a reality show built around him.

Holloway would also like another chance to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, but he doesn’t want to talk about the Irishman right now.

“That guy’s not even talking about the UFC, so why are you even talking about him?” Holloway said. “He’s talking about boxing, so boxing can go talk about him. He’s having his kid – leave the guy alone. Let him have his kid and go talk his boxing talks; we’re over here doing fighting. All you’ve got to do is win and make noise. We’ve got a young generation coming up, and we’ve got some interesting matchups at 145.”

UFC 212 takes place on Saturday, June 3 from the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with Jose Aldo and Max Holloway headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
