Matt Brown Wants To Punch Snoop Dogg
Matt Brown is in the midst of preparations to face former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit in the co-main event of UFC On Fox 29.
Snoop Dogg provided color commentary alongside Urijah Faber for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and he had some negative words about UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor. Those negative words have compelled Brown to want to punch the longtime entertainer in the face.
“Snoop Dogg, that piece of s**t” said Brown on The Joe Rogan Experience MMA Show. “I’ll call him out. He called out Conor. He called him a b**ch. That’s not cool, man. I don’t care [if he was intoxicated], he put it out in public. He could have apologized, deleted it, whatever. If I go to the UFC PI [UFC Performance Institute], I might just punch him if I see him there. I’m cool with that.”
Dogg made the disparaging comments about McGregor after the UFC Lightweight Champion was defeated by Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match this past August.
Brown also has a lot of respect for what McGregor has accomplished and that’s another reason he wants to get violent with Dogg.
“I’m just saying, that really offends me,” said Brown. “Conor, people all have their opinions about him, I respect the s**t out of that guy. I love what he’s done, I love his schtick. I think he’s a true sportsman. He comes into the limelight for a while and then he goes back, and I think he works his ass off. I really think he does. He wouldn’t be where he’s at if he didn’t, but everyone judges him by what he does out here.”
UFC On Fox 29 takes place on Saturday, April 17 from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona with Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
