Boneheaded Bettor Loses $25,000 On Mariya Agapova
One big spender lost a lot of money after making a mathematically bone-headed bet on Mariya Agapova vs. Shana Dobson at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar.
Dobson picked up a second-round TKO victory over Agapova on the event’s main card. A bettor placed an enormous $25,000 wager on Agapova and promptly lost it all. What makes the situation even more insane, however, is the patron would have only netted $1,775 on an Agapova victory.
In the women’s UFC flyweight division tonight, a bettor at @SuperBookSports bet $25,000 on heavy favorite (-1400) Mariya Agapova. She lost to Shana Dobson in a huge upset.
The bet would have netted $1,775 if Agapova won.

According to the Betting Odds Calculator on the Action Sports Network, a bet of $25,000 on Dobson, who was victorious on that night, would’ve brought the bettor a profit of $26,775.
