Brendan Allen competed on the main card of UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker, defeating Kyle Daukaus by unanimous decision.

That victory didn’t come without consequences for Allen, as his manager in Brian Butler-Au says that the victorious Allen suffered multiple nasal and orbital fractures during the bout.

Butler-Au posted the following on Twitter, while also revealing that Allen may not compete again until next year and could also return at light heavyweight:

There is no word yet on an exact time frame for Allen’s return, but more should be known as the fighter heals up from his various injuries.

Allen is currently 3-0-0 in the UFC (15-3-0 overall), having picked up victories over the trio of Kevin Holland, Tom Breese and the aforementioned Daukaus.
