Main Event Set For PFL 2
The second ever Professional Fighter’s League event has it featured attraction as the final World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion Andre Harrison faces Steven Rodriguez.
Harrison (16-0-0) became the final World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion when he defeated Lance Palmer by unanimous decision at the WSOF 35. Harrison is also a former Titan Fighting Championships Featherweight Champion, but relinquished the gold upon signing with the WSOF. Harrison competed seven times in Titan FC, where he defeated UFC veterans Deivison Ribeiro, Kurt Holobaugh, Desmond Green and Steven Siler.
Rodriguez (10-2-0) won his lone fight in the WSOF, that victory came over Alexandre Almeida at the WSOF 35. Rodriguez enters this fight on the strength of a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost seven years. Rodriguez is going to be competing for the second time this year, which is the first time he has competed twice in the same calendar year since he fought twice in 2014.
Professional Fighter’s League 2 takes place on Saturday, July 29 from a location to be announced in Everett, Washington with Andre Harrison and Steven Rodriguez headlining. Fightful is providing live quick results of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
