Maikel Perez Defends LFA Flyweight Title Against Brandon Moreno At LFA 69
The Legacy Fighting Alliance Flyweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of LFA 69 as Maikel Perez defends the gold against Brandon Moreno.
Perez (6-1-0) is making the first defense of the champion, defeating Sid Bice by second round TKO at LFA 37 to win the gold. Perez is going to be competing for the first time in over a year, as the LFA 37 event took place in April of 2018. Perez has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those victories came by way of submission.
Moreno (14-5-0) is competing for the first time since being cut by the UFC, which came after a loss to Alexandre Pantoja at UFC Fight Night Chile. Moreno hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with that last win coming against Dustin Ortiz at UFC Fight Night 108. Moreno has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came by way of decision.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 69 takes place on Friday, June 7 from the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California with Maikel Perez and Brandon Moreno headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
