Laila Ali Doesn’t Wants Fans To Be Pissed At McGregor vs. Mayweather

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are both training for their upcoming super fight this August.

Women’s boxing great Laila Ali has a concern about the fight, which is that the fans could get pissed off in the fight ends in a fast manner.

“So if you buy the fight, you know, don’t be pissed if it ends too fast or it wasn’t competitive. I’m going to be asking, ‘What did you expect?',” Ali said to For The Win.

Laila is the daughter of the late and legendary Muhammad Ali, who is widely considered to be one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Ali also doesn’t think the fans should take the fight to seriously, because she believes that the fight was put together just for fun.

“I just think that fans need to just know that it’s for fun,” Ali said. “Easy for me to say – I’m not going to be in the ring. But you’ve got a UFC fighter, who has no boxing experience, fighting one of the best fighters in the world.”

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
