Bantamweight contenders Kyler Phillips and Raphael Assuncao will fight at a yet-to-be-announced UFC event on July 24, first reported by Phillips himself who revealed the fight booking via a story post on his Instagram account. Phillips is 3-0 currently inside of the Octagon and last defeated Song Yadong via a unanimous decision at UFC 259. Assuncao on the other hand will try to avoid losing four in a row against Phillips, he was last defeated by former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandy via a buzzer-beating second-round knockout at UFC 250.

Chase Hooper vs. Steven Peterson booked for UFC 263 in June
Featherweight prospect Chase Hooper will get his next test in the form of Steven Peterson when the two meet at UFC 263 on June 12, first reported by BJPenn.com’s Cole Shelton. Hooper is coming off of a third-round submission victory due to a heel hook over Peter Barrett back at UFC 256, while Peterson is 2-4 in his six Octagon appearances last knocking out Martin Bravo in the second round at UFC Fight Night 159 in September 2019.

Highly touted bantamweight prospects Adrian Yanez and Randy Costa will collide at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on July 24, first reported by MMAJunkie’s Nolan King. Yanez is 3-0 in the Octagon so far with all three victories coming via finishes, the most recent coming over Gustavo Lopez at UFC Vegas 22 via a third-round knockout. Costa is 2-1 in his current stint with the promotion and most recently knocked out Journey Newson in just 41 seconds at UFC Vegas 11.

Due to multiple opponent removals, Felipe Corrales and Luke Sanders will now fight at this Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 25 event, first reported by Tudo Sobre MMA’s Kelvin Ramirez. After a COVID-19 cancellation, featherweights Bill Algeo and Ricardo Ramos will now meet at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on May 22, first reported by MMAJunkie’s Farah Hannoun and Nolan King. Ramos is 1-1 since returning to 145-pounds last losing to Lerone Murphy via a first-round TKO at UFC Fight Island 1, whereas Algeo is looking to build off his first victory inside the Octagon a unanimous decision win over Spike Carlyle at UFC Vegas 15.

Vitaly Bigdash has been forced out of his title rematch with ONE light heavyweight champion Aung La Nsang at this week’s ONE on TNT 4 event due to a positive COVID-19 test. Undefeated dutchmen Reinier de Ridder will now fill in for Bigdash to face Nsang, first reported by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani. Gleison Tibau now takes on Joao Zeferino at PFL 2
With their opponent’s Alexey Kunchenko and Magomed Magomedkerimov both having to withdraw from their respective bouts at this Friday night’s PFL 2 event, welterweights Gleison Tibau and Joao Zeferino will now face other first reported by Sherdog’s Tristen Critchfield. Tibau the longtime UFC veteran will be making his promotional debut against Zeferino and last defeated former Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks via a first-round submission due to a guillotine choke at Battlefield FC 2 in July 2019. Whereas Zeferino has gone 4-1 in his last five fights and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Bojan Velickovic at PFL 4.
