Kayla Harrison Says She Can Beat Khabib Nurmagomedov In A Judo Match

Two time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison will have a chance to become a millionaire by competing in the women’s lightweight division for the second season of the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

If there is one thing that Harrison is confident about, it would be that she can defeat UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a judo match.

“Am I gonna beat Khabib? I mean I think I would beat him in a Judo match. For sure, 100 percent. I would beat Khabib,” she said to TMZ Sports.

Harrison won her two Olympic gold medals competing in judo, while Nurmagomedov has little to no judo experience to speak of, but the UFC champion is a longtime practitioner of sambo.

Ali Abdelaziz, who manages both Harrison and Nurmagomedov, also told TMZ Sports that Nurmagomedov may be down for a judo bout with Harrison…if the money is right.

There has been no comment from Nurmagomedov himself, as the fighter is currently observing Ramadan.

PFL Season 2, Event 1 takes place tonight from the NYCB Live At The Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York with Kayla Harrison and Larissa Pacheco headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN 2.
