Kamaru Usman More Than 3-1 Favorite vs. Jorge Masvidal In UFC 261 Rematch
Kamaru Usman is a big favorite in his rematch vs. Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.
Usman (18-1) and Masvidal (35-14) will run back their UFC welterweight title fight from July 2020. Usman won the first encounter via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 49-46); however, Masvidal served as a short-notice replacement less than one week from the fight.
BetOnline has released their early odds for the fight and Usman is favored by a significant margin.
Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal
Kamaru Usman (-350)
Jorge Masvidal (+285)
Usman surprisingly called out Masvidal after his huge TKO win over Gilbert Burns at UFC 258. “The Nigerian Nightmare” claims Masvidal is using the short-notice fight as an excuse and wants to settle the score for good.
UFC 261 is scheduled to take place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, April 24. It will mark UFC’s first event in front of a full arena crowd since the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to live events. Usman vs. Masvidal II will top bill a card that includes Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jessica Andrade for the UFC women’s flyweight title, and Weili Zhang vs. Rose Namajunas for the UFC women’s strawweight strap.
