Josh Emmett Foresaw His Victory At UFC Fight Night Philadelphia
Josh Emmett returned after a year-plus absence at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia, defeating Michael Johnson by third round knockout.
A victorious Emmett, who has been working with a mind coach in the lead up to the bout, foresaw what would happen this past Saturday at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia.
“It was that exact punch, landing an overhand right, perfect placement to the chin, and him just out cold, hitting the ground – and walk-off home run,” Emmett said after the event (via Steven Marrocco & Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie).
The fighter had been out of action for over a year due to a violent knockout loss to Jeremy Stephens at UFC On Fox 28, suffering from facial bone fractures and vertigo due to the violent finish of that bout.
Emmett is now back on path for his goal as a pro, which is to capture the UFC Featherweight Championship.
“I will be a world champion,” he said. “If the best me shows up, nobody can beat me.”
