Jon Jones Says His Character Gets Too Drunk When Drinking, Wants To Focus On His Good Traits

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was arrested last month in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has since been charged with aggravated DWI, negligent use of a firearm, possession of an open container, and driving with no proof of insurance.

Jones, who has since pleaded guilty to a DWI, has taken to Twitter to respond to some fan criticism, stating that his character gets too drunk while drinking and that the champion would rather focus on his good traits.

The light heavyweight champion has been sentenced 96 hours of community custody, better known as house arrest, one year of supervised probation, 90 days of outpatient therapy and 48 hours of community service after pleading guilty to the DWI, plus Jones has to wear an ankle monitor and can only leave his residence with permission from the authorities.
