Jimi Manuwa Wants To Showcase God Given Talents This Weekend
Jimi Manuwa will be headlining this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 107 card against TUF champion Corey Anderson.
The British fighter believes that the fight will become a showcase for his unique talents.
“I think you’re just born with it (knockout power),” he said to MMA Junkie. “There’s many fighters, there’s many aggressive fighters and there’s many knockout artists. I think it’s a God-given talent to be a knockout artist.”
Manuwa has already shown some of those God given talents in his past seven UFC bouts. While he acknowledges that Anderson is a talented fighter, it will not stop Manuwa from dishing out the pain against him.
“I plan on dishing out more pain, another stoppage (and) another stoppage win,” he said. “Corey Anderson’s a great fighter and I look forward the challenge of fighting him. But I just come to give out pain, and not a lot of people can take it.”
UFC Fight Night 107 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from The 02 in London, England with Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event. The event will be airing live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
