Jessica-Rose Clark Says Las Vegas Police Not Arresting Robbery Suspect, LVMPD Says Investigation Is Active
Jessica-Rose Clark picked up a unanimous decision win over Paige VanZant on the main card of UFC Fight Night St. Louis.
Just a few days for the event, a shocked Clark had learned that her home was robbed, plus her cat Dwight was murdered by the intruders.
Clark recently sent out a tweet stating that the Las Vegas police have a suspect in the home robbery/cat murder, but was told there was no point in arresting the suspect:
So LVMPD found prints, have a name and address for one of the men who robbed us and killed Dwight. But they said there’s no point arresting him “for just a burglary”
$30000 burglary and a murdered cat deserves an arrest I think? #JusticeForDwight— Jessy Jess (@missjessyjess) March 20, 2018
And the officer in charge of investigation has been ignoring our emails for the last two weeks

MMA Fighting contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) about the situation, which got the following response from the Clark County District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Laura Meltzer:
“It is still an active investigation. They are still trying to get the warrant in the system. And then that individual is still subject to arrest. We have to wait until that process takes its course.”
The fighter doesn’t have another bout booked at the moment and she current sits at #9 in the UFC Women’s Flyweight Division rankings.
