Jessica-Rose Clark Replaces Joanne Calderwood At UFC Fight Night Sydney

The upcoming UFC Fight Night Sydney co-main event has undergone a change as Jessica-Rose Clark is replacing an injured Joanne Calderwood against Bec Rawlings.

It was Rawlings herself who announced the change via Twitter:

Rawlings (7-6-0) enters the fight riding a two bout losing streak, dropping fights to both Paige VanZant and Tecia Torres. Rawlings also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, losing to Tecia Torres in the opening round of the reality show. Rawlings has also previously challenged for the Invicta FC Strawweight Title, losing to Carla Esparza by decision at Invicta FC 4.

Clark (7-4-0-1NC) is going to be making her UFC debut in this fight and she has only won just one of her last three fights. That lone win in her last three fights was a split decision victory over Carina Damm at Titan Fighting Championships 45. Clark is actually winless thus far when competing against UFC veterans, losing to Sarah Kaufman at Battlefield: The Great Beginning.

UFC Fight Night Sydney takes place on Saturday, November 18 from the Qudus Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia with Fabricio Werdum and Marcin Tybura headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
