JDS Says UFC 211 Was A Terrible Night

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos was soundly beaten by Stipe Miocic in his failed bid to win the UFC Heavyweight Title at UFC 211.

The former champion admits that UFC 211 was a terrible night for him.

“That’s the heavyweight division, you know?” Dos Santos said at the UFC 211 post-fight press conference. “I think I’ve made many, many guys feel like that. It’s terrible, man. It’s terrible. Because I was prepared and I had a lot to give there and everything, like I said, everything was working very well. The way we expected.”

JDS and Miocic are now tied at one win apiece in their series, as JDS won their first meeting at UFC On Fox 13.

Even though he’s coming off of a tough defeat, the former champion is looking forward to his next fight.

“You know, I’m here to fight,” he said. “And now I’m looking forward for my next fight already because I want to delete this thing. I’m still looking forward for my future fights because that’s what I love to do.”

While the former heavyweight kingpin has only suffered four defeats in the UFC, three of them did come by way of KO/TKO.
