Jake Paul Open To Matchup With Jorge Masvidal: “I Would Love To Fight Masvidal”

YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul would welcome a matchup with former UFC title challenger and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal for a future bout.

Paul spoke with reporters in Cleveland, Ohio during the open workouts ahead of his fight with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley this weekend and responded to Masvidal’s prediction that his former training partner in Woodley was going to “knock him the f*ck out”.

“I wasn’t surprised by Masvidal,” Paul said (h/t MMA Junkie). “He has the same manager as Woodley and the guy’s kind of an airhead. Let’s be honest. Masvidal’s not smart. Does anyone here listen to a Masvidal interview and go, ‘Oh wow, that guy’s intellectual. He’s a smart guy. The way he talks, he’s very well-spoken.’ I don’t think anyone says that. He’s a street fighter gangster who got knocked the f*ck out in his last fight, so maybe he’s losing a couple of brain cells. I would love to fight Masvidal. I think it could very much so happen.”

The social media influencer will face Woodley in his fourth professional boxing fight this Sunday, August 29 from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio in an eight-round cruiserweight bout. Paul vs. Woodley is available this Sunday on FITE  globally excluding LATAM/UK/Caribbean. You can purchase the fight at this link.
