Jake Hager’s MMA debut is in a few weeks.
It was announced earlier this month that the current Lucha Underground Champion and former WWE United States Champion Jake Hager F.K.A. Jack Swagger will be making his MMA debut on January 26th on the main card of Bellator’s 214 show in Inglewood, California against J.W. Kiser. Hager’s MMA debut has been anticipated for months dating back to when he first announced that he was venturing into the sport and during a recent interview with the Tampa Bay Times, Hager stated that he is ready for what is to come on January 26th.
“I have a lot of experience with the lights on bright — a lot of people watching and performing on live television,” he said. “But this isn’t only amateur wrestling,” he said. “It’s mixed martial arts. There are many disciplines I need to be good at. But I’m ready,” he said.
