Jacare Souza Not A Fan Of Potential Michael Bisping/Yoel Romero Fight

Ronaldo Souza is preparing for his first fight of 2017, as he will be taking on a fellow middleweight in Tim Boetsch at UFC 208. Souza is the #4 ranked middleweight in the UFC, but a rumored title fight between champion Michael Bisping and Yoel Romero is a bout he isn’t too happy to see.

“I believe (Bisping vs. Romero) will happen,” Souza said to MMA Junkie. “The dirty one, because Romero is a dirty fighter, against the chicken, the scared one – Bisping. So it will be kind of a weird fight. The dirty (fighter) against the chicken. I believe this will be the fight.”

Souza will be fighting the aforementioned Boetsch, who’s ranked #14 in the division. Lower ranking aside, Souza believes his opponent could be a tough out.

“My opponent is trouble,” Souza said. “He has a very hard hand – it can make it difficult for any opponent. His hook makes it tough. He’s very strong and his wrestling is very good, as well. So to sum it all up, he’s trouble.”

UFC 208 takes place on Saturday, February 11 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie headlining.
