Interim Featherweight Champion Being Crowned At LFA 47
The vacant Legacy Fighting Alliance Interim Featherweight Title is going to get an owner at LFA 47 as Damon Jackson faces Nate Jennerman for the gold.
Jackson (15-2-1-1NC) has won five of six under the LFA banner and does enter the bout on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Jackson has previously challenged for the LFA Featherweight Title, losing to current champion Kevin Aguilar at LFA 4. Jackson went winless furing a three fight stint in the UFC, with his last bout in the promotion coming at UFC On Fox 18.
Jennerman (12-3-0) comes into the contest having won four of five in LFA competition and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost a year. Jennerman has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with all of those losses coming by way of decision. Jennerman is a former Caged Aggression Featherweight Champion, defeating Clint Anderson by unanimous decision to win the gold in April of 2016.
