Injury Changes LFA 9 Main Event

Ryan Spann has suffered an injury and he is out of the Legacy Fighting Alliance 9 main event, replacing him against Myron Dennis will be Danilo Marques.

Dennis (12-5-0) will be making his LFA debut in this fight and he is also a former Legacy Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Champion. Dennis also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23 and he lost in the quarterfinals to Andrew Sanchez by unanimous decision. Dennis is also 1-1-0 against UFC veterans, as he defeated Paul Buentello and suffered a defeat to Corey Anderson.

Marques (7-1-0) will be making his LFA debut in this fight as well and all but one of his professional MMA fights have gone past the opening round. Marques has also fought three times in the Predator Fighting Championships promotion, where he defeated Matheus De Oliveira, William Elias Soares and Marco Antonio Camargo. Marques last competed at Curitiba Top Fight 10 in February 2017, where he defeated Lorival Lourenco Jr. by second round submission.

Legacy Fighting Alliance 9 takes place on Friday, April 14 from the Fire Lake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Myron Dennis and Danilo Marques headlining. The event will be airing live on AXS TV and Fightful will provide quick results once the event concludes.
