Igor Pokrajac/Ed Herman Slated For UFC 209
A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 209 that will be pitting Igor Pokrajac up against Ed Herman.
Pokrajac (24-13-0) has been winless thus far in his second run with the UFC, having dropped a fight to Jan Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night 86. Pokrajac’s first run with the UFC last for five years, which saw him pick up some notable wins over James Irvin, Fabio Maldonado and Krzysztof Soszynski. Pokrajac did win a grand total of three fights in between his two UFC runs, but he also hasn’t earned a victory in well over a year’s time.
Herman (21-12-0) has been winless since moving up to the light heavyweight division, having dropped a fight to Nikita Krylov at UFC 201. Herman has competed exclusively as a middleweight in the UFC before the weight division change, but he has picked up wins over Scott Smith, Joe Doerkson, David Loiseau, Kyle Noke, Rafael Natal and Tim Boetsch. Herman made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, but he lost a controversial decision to Kendall Grove in the reality shows finals.
UFC 209 takes place on Saturday, March 4 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson headlining.
