Henry Cejudo Isn’t Happy With Flyweight Title Bout At UFC 255

Retired professional MMA fighter and former two division champion Henry Cejudo relinquished the UFC Flyweight Title several months ago, which would eventually be won by Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez II.

It was recently revealed that Figueiredo’s first title defense will come against former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, who has never competed once before in the UFC flyweight division, at UFC 255.

It appears that Cejudo isn’t very happy with the matchmaking done by the UFC, as the retired fighter blasted the fight on Twitter:

Garbrandt does have a chance to make UFC history in the bout, despite Cejudo’s feeling about the fight, as Garbrandt can become one of a handful of fighters in the UFC to win two titles in two different weight classes.

UFC 255 takes place on Saturday, November 21 from a location to be announced with Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
