Henry Cejudo Goes After Fighters Following Recent DQ’s: “I’m Gonna Call It The Aljamain Sterling Act”

Former UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo continues to troll and go after current UFC bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling.

Cejudo took to his Twitter account following Luana Pinheiro’s DQ win over Randa Markos at UFC Vegas 25 after Markos threw an illegal upkick and Pinheiro was unable to continue fighting because of it. The 2008 Olympic gold medalist sent out the following tweet seemingly critical of Pinheiro’s overacting and his perception of fighters increasingly milking in fight injuries since Sterling’s DQ win over Petr Yan at UFC 259.

He didn’t stop there though with his criticism of Sterling, the former two-division UFC champion sent another tweet out saying he hates to admit it but he thinks fighters supposedly exacerbating injuries during fights is now the start of the Aljamain Sterling era. Cejudo finished up his social media tirade directed towards Sterling with a final tweet with a two-minute video attached to it actually defending Sterling’s actions in the fight with Yan, but not excusing the recent fighter of various promotions for doing similar things.

“I’m gonna call it the Aljamain Sterling Act,” Cejudo said. “Where you guys are literally taking wins, off of getting kicked in the nuts barely like that Juan Espino fight or that Eddie Alvarez fight where he (Iuri Lapicus) barely gets clipped in the head by the ear, and the dude’s freaking rolling his eyes back. Or you know which one I’m talking about, the girl (Luana Pinheiro) that just got literally knocked out with a bunch of toes right by the eye. You might as well join the World Cup soccer team because that is what you guys look like. Anyhow, I’m not even mad at Aljo lame Sterling for what he pulled (at UFC 259) because he was losing the fight, and he happened to make a business decision. I get it, it’s for a belt but for the rest of you who have followed that trend, I’m gonna tell you right now man shame on you guys.”
