Hassan N’Dam Transitioning From Boxing To MMA, Signs With ARES FC

Another professional boxer is making the transition to professional MMA as Hassan N’Dam has signed with ARES FC.

The promotion made the announcement of N’Dam’s signing through Youtube:

MMA Junkie provided the following transcript of what was said in the video by ARES FC President Fernand Lopez:

“Why did Hassan sign at ARES? How could we not sign Hassan at ARES. That’s the real question. At ARES, our objective is to develop the talents of Africa, the talents of Europe, and to date, Hassan has a main role in the world of combat sport. He started boxing back in Cameroon, and he proved to the world that he could go to the highest level. His idea to start MMA is to prove to the world that it can happen at the highest level.”

N’Dam has a 37-5-0 record as a professional boxer, while winning such championships as the WBA International Middleweight Title, WBA Interim Middleweight Title, WBA (Regular) Middleweight Title and the WBC Silver Middleweight Title. N’Dam’s last professional boxing fight came in December of last year, which was a unanimous decision loss to Fedor Chudinov.

There is no word at this time as to when N’Dam will make his professional MMA debut or whom that bout will come against.
