Gunnar Nelson Signs New Multi-Fight Deal With The UFC | Social Media Roundup
Despite not competing inside the Octagon since late 2019, Gunnar Nelson has now signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC — this and much more on Monday’s social media roundup.
Gunnar Nelson signs new UFC deal
Despite his MMA career seemingly being over, former UFC welterweight contender Gunnar Nelson has now shocked fans by revealing that he has signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC and has told fans to expect a fight announcement very soon.

Nelson hasn’t appeared in the Octagon since late 2019 where he was defeated by Gilbert Burns.
Nelson’s UFC career to date has been incredibly up and down. He doesn’t really have any wins over elite level competition but he has only lost to top contenders such as Gilbert Burns, Leon Edwards and Demian Maia.
Nelson’s announcement has surprised many of his fans as many people believed that Nelson would not compete in the UFC again due to being out for so long and not showing any real signs that he was planning on getting back into things.
However, with this new deal signed, Nelson is going to be fighting in the UFC again very very soon.

This was a strange move from McGregor as he has never been in any interactions with Cejudo on social media or in person.
However, this didn’t make Cejudo hold back in his response to the Irishman.
What do you know about farting? You always run out of gas. https://t.co/IYISReW51v
