A pair of lightweights in Gilbert Burns and Olivier Aubin-Mercier have agreed to a fight at UFC On Fox 27 through Twitter.
Burns started the whole thing off by issuing said challenge:

Aubin-Mercier to all of four words to accept the challenge from Burns:

Then Burns went to the UFC brass to get the job done:

Thus far, nobody from the UFC has commented on the possibility of the fight coming together and becoming official.
The last time UFC fans saw Burns in action was at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh and he defeated Jason Saggo by knockout on that night. Aubin-Mercier last competed at the very same event and he picked up a unanimous decision win over Tony Martin.
