Gilbert Burns Challenges Nate Diaz To $400,000 Grappling Match
Gilbert Burns has time to burn before his fight with Kamaru Usman, so he wants to wager against Nate Diaz on the grappling mats.
Burns was originally expected to fight Usman for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 256 but the bout was postponed. The top-contender took to Twitter this week to call out ultra-popular UFC star Diaz.
“So as my title fight is not scheduled yet, Let’s grapple! Let’s see who is the real gangster, Nate Diaz. So I put $200,000 you put $200,000 winner takes all…” Burns tweeted on Thursday. “Chael Sonnen, UFC Fight Pass, what you say?”
