Gilbert Burns Believes Leon Edwards, Jorge Masvidal And Nate Diaz Are Ducking Him | Social Media Roundup
Gilbert Burns has expressed his belief that other top contenders in the UFC’s welterweight division are ducking him and do not want to fight him — this and much more on Tuesday’s social media roundup.
Gilbert Burns thinks that Masvidal, Diaz, and Edwards do not want to fight him
Gilbert Burns returned to the Octagon at UFC 264 for the first time since getting knocked out by his former teammate Kamaru Usman at UFC 258.
Burns matched up against welterweight veteran Stephen Thompson in which on paper, was an incredibly close fight.
However, the fight was not that close as Burns shut down Thompson with his wrestling and ground control to secure the unanimous decision victory.
After the fight, Burns called out his fellow UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal to fight later on in the year and it seemed like Masvidal was all for the fight happening.
That now seems to have changed as Burns has aired his frustrations about not getting a fight on Twitter.
Check out Burns’ Tweet below.

Burns believes that Leon Edwards, Jorge Masvidal, and Nate Diaz do not want to fight him.
Nate Diaz openly declined the fight several weeks ago, replying to one of Burns’ Tweets saying “I’d rather fight the guy who knocked you out.”
Masvidal is always down to fight anyone and Leon Edwards also seemed to accept the fight against Burns on social media several days ago, so is Burns trying to goad these fighters into fighting him by saying they are afraid?
