Gabi Garcia Says She Was Assaulted During Visit To LA
Female fighting sensation Gabi Garcia is going to be taking on former pro wrestler Shinobu Kandori in just a few weeks at Rizin 8.
The fighter recently traveled stateside to Los Angeles, California to get her medical testing done for the upcoming bout.
According to a video posted by Garcia, after the fighter was done her medical testing, a male approached and tried to goad the Brazilian into a fight. Garcia refused to fight the fan and in response, the man attacked Garcia by nailing her with a series of leg kicks.
In the aforementioned video, there is clear bruising on the leg of Garcia, but no other apparent physical harm was done.
As of Thursday, there has been no police report filed by Garcia about the incident and thusly, no arrests were made in the matter.

Garcia is still expected to compete at Rizin 8 against the former professional wrestler.
Rizin 8 takes place on Friday, December 29 from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan with Ian McCall and Manel Kape headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Fite TV.
