TNA saw appearance from a former UFC Champion at tonight's tapings.
Fightful.com has confirmed reports stating that Josh Barnett is in Orlando, Florida, the site of TNA's tapings.
Barnett would go on to work an angle with Bobby Lashley, Bellator MMA star.. TNA is no stranger to utilizing MMA stars, as King Mo, Rampage Jackson, Tito Ortiz, Frank Trigg and Marcus Davis have all appeared in the past, although Ortiz and Marcus Davis didn't wrestle matches.
Tonight's tapings will extend from February to March.
Barnett was provisionally suspended due to an out-of-competition drug test taken on on December 9 by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. He's a student of the late Billy Robinson, who also trained the likes of Kazushi Sakuraba and Shayna Baszler. Barnett has performed for both NJPW and IGF in the past, while lending his commentary to NJPW on AXS.
