Former PFL Fighter Threatening Lawsuit Against Promotion
Earlier this year, a change took place as the World Series Of Fighting (WSOF) was morphed into the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
While things have been going smooth on the surface since the changeover, a fighter by the name of Bruce Boyington has come forward to threaten legal action against the promotion after getting released.
Boyington was cut earlier this week after the PFL trimmed down the lightweight division roster to twelve fighters.
Since getting cut, a now unemployed Boyington took to Twitter to both complain about the companies practices and to threaten legal action.

The fighter did have a 2-1-0 record during the WSOF days (14-11-0 overall), defeating Rodrigo Almeida and Saul Almeida, while suffering a defeat to Andre Harrison. Boyington hasn’t competed in any incarnation of the WSOF/PFL in over a year, with that last promotional bout coming against Andre Harrison at the WSOF 34.
Once he got word of the fighters claims, PFL President Rey Sefo issued a response to what was being said by Boyington.

As of now, no lawsuit has been filed by the fighter against his former promotion.
