First Bout Announced For UFC Fight Night Fresno
The first bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night Fresno card and it is a lightweight division bout as Scott Holtzman is in action against Darrell Horcher.
It was Horcher & Holtzman who both announced the fight via Instagram:
Holtzman (10-2-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last bout being a victory over Michael McBride at UFC Fight Night 108. Holtzman is also a former Xtreme Fighting Championships Lightweight Champion, defeating Roger Carroll to win the gold at XFC 26. Holtzman has also seen his last four bouts go the distance and it has been over two years since he got a finish.
Horcher (13-2-0) has won just one of two fights under the UFC banner, defeating Devin Powell and suffering a defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Horcher also won two of three fights in Bellator MMA competition, with those two wins coming over EJ Brooks and Chris Ligouri. Horcher also competed in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships, winning every fight he competed at in the promotion.
UFC Fight Night Fresno takes place on Saturday, December 9 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
