Final UFC On Fox 25 Ratings Aren’t Good
UFC On Fox 25 drew the worst overnight ratings in the entire history of the events airing on the Fox network.
Things didn’t get much better for the event now that the final ratings are in because the show drew the third worst overall ratings in its history.
The show would finish with a 1.23 average rating as 2,046,000 viewers tuned in to check out the event, which was headlined by former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman defeating TUF champion Kelvin Gastelum.
Other fights on the main card saw Darren Elkins defeat Dennis Bermudez, Patrick Cummins defeat Gian Villante and Jimmie Rivera defeat Thomas Almeida.
Despite the low ratings, the show was still the highest rated show in prime time for all the key male demographics.
It was the main event fight that drew the highest rating, with 2,714,000 viewers checking out the encounter.
There was also a four fight preliminary card that aired on Fox as well that was headlined by Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos defeat Lyman Good, that portion of the card averaged 1,137,000 viewers.
Next up for the promotion is going to be UFC 214 on pay-per-view, but there is going to be a four fight preliminary card airing live on FXX.
