Fighters React To Justin Gaethje Battering Tony Ferguson To Win Interim UFC Lightweight Title At UFC 249
Justin Gaethje proved why he’s one of the most feared fighters in the world, battering Tony Ferguson for nearly 25-minutes en route to a stoppage in the fifth round. Ferguson never went down, but referee Herb Dean decided he had taken enough damage with just over a minute left in the fight. With the victory, Gaethje is the new interim UFC Lightweight Champion, setting up a future date with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
