In less than a month, the current UFC Lightweight Champion in Conor McGregor faces Floyd Mayweather in a boxing super fight.
If the ticket prices are to high for fans to attend the event or if the pay-per-view price is to high for fans to watch the event at home, then they all have a third option.
Fathom Events will air the pay-per-view portion of the card at select theaters across the United States and tickets will cost $40.
Mayweather, who has had several of his past fights aired on the big screen believes there may be no better way to watch the event (if you can’t be there in person) than on the big screen.
“The buzz that my fight against Conor McGregor is getting has been great already, so what better way to watch this larger-than-life event than on the big screen?” Mayweather stated to MMA Junkie. “We brought boxing back to movie theaters eight years ago and it was a huge success, but this event is on a different level and I’m so glad we are giving fans another way to see all the action. Grab your popcorn because this is a fight no one will want to miss.”
