EXCLUSIVE: Rampage Wants Chain Vs. Nipple Rings Stipulation For King Mo Fight
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has made a few forays into the world of professional wrestling, and the former champion MMA fighter borrowed from that world in suggesting an extra stipulation for his upcoming fight with Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal at Bellator 175.
"This should be a fight where the loser lose their nipple rings. … If I lose, I put the chain down for a week. If he loses, he loses the nipple rings forever," Jackson said during an exclusive interview with Fightful.com.
This isn't the first time Rampage has used Lawal's choice of body jewelry to poke fun at the rival light heavyweight. Back in 2014, Jackson mocked Lawal for wearing nipple rings during a Twitter beef between the two fighters. And these two have had ill feelings against one another for quite some time. In their first bout, which took place in May of 2014 at Bellator 120, Jackson was fined $10,000 by the Mississippi athletic commission for shoving Lawal during the pre-fight face-off at weigh-ins. Jackson went on to win that fight by unanimous decision, earning a shot at the Bellator Light Heavyweight Title. That title fight never materialized; Jackson jumped back to the UFC instead, citing contractual issues with Bellator that ultimately were resolved after a single fight back inside the Octagon.
Jackson threw a few more verbal jabs in King Mo's direction regarding the nipple rings:
"He's got to get rid of those nipple rings forever. I don't think a lot of women like guys with nipple rings. His nipple rings are like the hoops. It makes me think he had, a girl like attaching stuff to him and pulling him by it. … I'm assuming that it's a girl."
The bout between Rampage and King Mo headlines the card for Bellator 175, which takes place March 31 from Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
