EXCLUSIVE: Rampage Says ‘I’ve Got A Lot Of Options’ After King Mo Fight

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will face King Mo in the main event of Bellator 175 on March 31. Whether or not he fights beyond that, Jackson said during an exclusive interview with Fightful.com, depends on a variety of factors.

Rampage was asked specifically about his future in mixed martial arts during his interview with Fightful. Jackson (37-11) has a pro career dating back to 1999, and will turn 39 years old this summer.

"Honestly, I've got a lot of options," he said. "It's not how long I want to fight for [but] how long can I fight for? I want to fight for as long as I can fight."

Jackson noted that opportunities in the entertainment industry could lead him to hang up the gloves. He's made a variety of appearances in TV and movies, most notably playing B.A. Baracus — the character popularized by Mr,. T — in the big-screen version of "The A-Team" back in 2010. Jackson noted he already has a couple of upcoming projects, mentioning a sitcom in the works as well as a movie he is producing and co-wrote with Christian Sesma, the director of Jackson's most recent film, "The Vigilante Diaries."

"If I get this sitcom, should I fight, and do the sitcom? Why should I? If I hook up with Joe Carnahan, the director of 'A-Team', he wants to do a bunch of movies with me. Why should I fight when I can just transition to TV and movies? After this fight I'm producing my own movie. I think it's a great story. It's my first time doing a movie where I created the story and I had my brother Chris Sesma … direct it and help me write it. If I can do stuff like this, I can find other ways to entertain the Rampage fans. I don't have to keep fighting."

As Jackson later noted, however, he continues to fight because he enjoys it, not because he needs to.
