Drakkar Klose vs. Luis Pena Scrapped From UFC Vegas 19 Due To COVID-19
A highly anticipated lightweight clash between Luis Pena and Drakkar Klose has been scrapped from UFC Vegas 19.
Pena took to Twitter and announced the same-day cancellation. One of Klose’s cornermen tested positive for COVID-19, according to “Violent Bob Ross”. Klose also told Fightful that the scheduled bout is cancelled, confirming that somebody in his corner tested positive.
I hate this man but it’s with a heavy heart that must inform you guys that the fight has been called off one of Drakkar’s corner tested positive for covid and out of the health and safety for us both the @ufc decided to pull the fight praying that he and his team remain healthy
