Darrion Caldwell Wants A Rematch With Kyoji Horiguchi
Bellator MMA Bantamweight Champion Darrion Caldwell fought UFC veteran Kyoji Horiguchi in the co-main event of Rizin 14, suffering a third round submission loss to the newly crowned Rizin Bantamweight Champion.
The Bellator title holder wants a rematch with Horiguchi and he would like it to take place in the Bellator cage.
Caldwell would take to Instagram to make his intentions known:
Horiguchi, who is in the midst of an eleven fight winning streak, has yet to respond to the challenge from Caldwell. Caldwell represents the fifth big show vet that Horiguchi has defeated while on the current winning streak, with the others being Ian McCall, Chico Camus, Neil Seery and Ali Bagautinov.
Scott Coker did say that if Horiguchi did win at Rizin 14, a rematch between him and Caldwell would take place in the Bellator cage.
