Darren Till Wants Rafael Dos Anjos Fight At UFC 224

Darren Till hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since a first round TKO victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC Fight Night Gdansk.

Till wants to be back in action at UFC 224 and the competitor would like his opponent to be former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos.

“Just because of his (Dos Anjos’) fan base there,” Till said to MMA Fighting, “and I’ve obviously lived there. I’ve got a lot of fans there, and I can speak the language. It would be a good sell in Brazil, if he’s willing to do it. I know he’s waiting for [Tyron] Woodley but Woodley doesn’t seem to want to come back.”

Dos Anjos hasn’t competed since UFC On Fox 26, where he secured a unanimous decision win over former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler.

There is one thing that Till believes all MMA fans are anticipating and that is his return to the Octagon.

“Apart from Conor, everyone is anticipating my comeback more than anyone else,” Till said. “It will be big.”

UFC 224 takes place on Saturday, May 12 from the Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
