Daniel Cormier Wants Matt Brown To Stay Retired
Matt Brown was last seen competing at UFC Fight Night Norfolk and he scored a brutal finish over Diego Sanchez in the co-main event.
Brown has been mum on his future plans after the fight, bouncing around between retirement and competing in the Octagon again.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier is a fan of Brown and after watching his latest performance, wants the welterweight to stay retired.
Cormier expressed his thoughts on the topic through Twitter:
Matt Brown will fight again, it’s a tale as old as time. Guy wants to walk away and then has awesome performance and he stays. Perfect ending Matt, I’d say walk away. You have talked of retirement so it’s too late to stay Brother.

The welterweight hasn’t had the best of runs in the UFC as of late, losing five of his last seven fights inside of the Octagon.
During his post-fight interview, the potentially retiring welterweight has his children in the Octagon with him as he spoke to Jon Anik. This is similar to how many other fighters have retired over the years, including Chris Lytle and UFC Hall Of Fame member Mark Coleman.
