Dana White Would Like To See TUF Return On FX

UFC President Dana White recently revealed that he is working on the return of the UFC Ultimate Fighter

If the reality show does indeed come back, a station White would like to see it air on is FX.

“I think we made some progress (on bringing ‘TUF’ back), but we’re still looking for where this thing is going to end up,” White told reporters at a media scrum this past Tuesday (via Farah Hannoun & John Morgan of MMA Junkie). “In a perfect world, I want ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ back on FX. In a perfect world, that would be awesome because FX is incredible. ESPN owns FX for those who don’t know.”

TUF hasn’t aired since season twenty eight concluded on Fox Sports 1 last year, which saw Macy Chiasson and Juan Espino crowned as champions

It would be interesting to see if a potentially returning UFC Ultimate Fighter would air on FX, since all the other UFC programming currently airs on ESPN+ or the ESPN family of cable channels. Over the years, incarnations of the UFC Ultimate Fighter also aired on Spike TV, Fox Sports 1, UFC Fight Pass and various international outlets.
